 Tantalum material used for all wetted surfaces of the seal. Tantalum is often a superior alternative to more common diaphragm seal materials, but has not been widely used in extended seal applications in the past due to limited availability of the design. Underlying flange-face, tube and diaphragm cavity (end-cap) are 316SS.  Carbon Steel ANSI flanges standard on Flanged Flush and Flanged Pancake types. Stainless steel flanges standard on Flanged Extended. Diaphragm cavity design allows vacuum filling while providing support for the diaphragm membrane.
